About Me
Hello, I’m Emma Robertson a UK Registered Midwife, qualified IBCLC Lactation Consultant and a mummy who has over 15 years of experience supporting women and families through pregnancy, birth, and the early days of parenthood.
I offer support services including; hypnobirthing courses, lactation consultations, baby massage courses and antenatal education classes.
Having a baby is both an exciting and vulnerable time and I’m here to guide and support you throughout your journey!

My Experience
After graduating with a BSc Midwifery from the University of Dundee in 2013, I began my career at Peterborough City Hospital in the UK, rotating through various clinical areas including Labour Ward and Transitional Care where I provided autonomous midwifery care, facilitated hypnobirthing, and supported hundreds of women throughout their infant feeding journeys.
In 2016, I moved to the UAE to continue my work in maternity care. I’ve since held roles as a Midwifery Sister, a Specialist Midwife, and a ward-based Lactation Consultant, and was part of a team that commissioned a new maternity hospital within Dubai. Most recently, I launched a postnatal midwifery home care service for a popular UAE healthcare provider, providing personalised support to new families in the comfort of their own homes.
Driven by a deep passion for education and informed choice, I became a certified hypnobirthing instructor in 2018 and have since taught countless families across the UAE. In 2020, I expanded my skill set by qualifying as an IBCLC Lactation Consultant, allowing me to offer specialised lactation support tailored to each family’s unique needs. I also breastfed my own baby—a journey that taught me as much as any training ever could and it required perseverance and encouragement from colleagues, friends and family along the way!
I believe in holistic, compassionate care and my approach is always non-judgemental, evidence-based, and grounded in the belief that every parent deserves skilled, friendly and warm support. It really does take a village to raise a baby—and I’m honoured to be a part of yours.
My Views on Pregnancy and Birth
I believe that pregnancy is one of the most special and life changing events that a person can experience. As a result, women and their families deserve to be nurtured, supported and to have someone who they can reach out to for reliable information and guidance.
Women should always be empowered to trust their instincts – my key role is to offer support by providing evidence-based information to aid them in making informed choices about their care, to achieve their desired birth outcomes and not those of anyone else. Women and their families are my priority and their wellbeing and happiness is what matters the most.
