Hypnobirthing

What is Hypnobirthing?

Providing the essential knowledge and tools for you to have a positive birth

A Hypnobirthing course offers parents the opportunity to learn about pregnancy and labour/birth in depth and provides them with the facts and realities of childbirth. Sessions aim to alleviate any pre-existing fears with information and encourage couples to view birth as a positive and empowering experience.

The main ethos of Hypnobirthing is fundamentally learning how to relax using different methods such as breathing, massage, listening to relaxation hypnotherapy scripts and visualisation of positive images. Courses are focused on empowering women to trust their instincts and their bodies.

Emma has been teaching Hypnobirthing for more than 7 years and she brings together her 15 years of clinical midwifery experience to ensure a comprehensive course that will leave participants feeling calm and confident, prepared for birth, free from fear and anxiety.

Her group virtual classes give couples the chance to chat with other expectant parents and ask questions within a safe and non-judgemental environment whilst relaxing comfortably on their own sofa at home!

The ideal time to start a Hypnobirthing course is between 20-33 weeks of pregnancy, although classes can be taken at any time to suit individual preferences.
